Hello, I have the Intel AX201 WiFi 6 installed in my setup. My system is a Debian based openmptcprouter (openwrt). Unfortunately, after successfully installing the drivers, I couldn't get the network card to run in AP mode so I wanted to ask whether the card even supports this mode.
root@OpenMPTCProuter:~# lspci -k
00:09.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (rev 20)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 0074
Kernel driver in use: iwlwifiKernel:
root@OpenMPTCProuter:~# uname -a
Linux OpenMPTCProuter 5.4.238 #0 SMP Sat Jul 29 19:00:07 2023 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Hi max93776,
Greetings from Intel Customer Support.
I understand that you are having difficulty using the Intel wireless card in AP mode. Please allow me to check what else I could be of help with.
To set your expectations, I will be asking you a series of questions to narrow down what recommendations I could provide. If you may, kindly share the following details below:
- For the record, were you able to run the Intel wireless card in AP mode before using the same setup?
- Are you using a laptop or desktop? If laptop, what is the exact make and model of your laptop? If Desktop, what is the exact make and model of the motherboard?
- May I know what the exact operating system and flavor of your system are?
- Just to confirm, is the wireless card is pre-installed on your computer?
- Have you done any troubleshooting? If so, please specify.
Furthermore, if it is possible, I hope that you download and install an Intel tool that will scan your system. Don't worry; there will be no personal information to be collected. To get the tool, please visit this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18895/26735/intel-system-support-utility-for-the-linux-operating-system.html
Please run the program, select everything, then scan, click next, save the result log, and upload the text file in your next response.
I will be waiting for your response.
