I install wireless drivers from intel site for my Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265. After driver instalation as soon as i connect to network it disconnects after 1 seconds and says there is no network connections. Even if there is like 15 of them. If i uninstall Wireless_19.40.0_PROSet64_Win10. it all works good.

My old computer has better and more stable wireless speed compare with the new one(Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265).

Hello mindaugaskk,

We understand you're experiencing issues after installing our latest generic driver.

Our first recommendation in this case will be to uninstall your current driver, and install the latest version provided by your computer manufacturer instead:

1. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005587.html Uninstall the Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software from Programs and Features.

2. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005756.html Uninstall the Wireless driver from Device Manager.

3. Download and install the latest WLAN driver from your OEM: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/OMEN-by-HP-17-w200-Laptop-PC/13823501/swItemId/ob-181169-1 sp78133.exe

4. Apply our http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005544.html recommended connectivity settings.

NOTE: Any links provided for third party tools or sites are offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel® of the content, products, or services offered there.

Please keep in mind that our adapters are often customized by each computer manufacturer (OEM) when they're integrated into your computer. We always recommend using the latest driver version provided by your OEM, as this is the only version accounting for these modifications. The software and drivers provided by us through our Download Center are generic versions only.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,

Carlos A.
