Dual Band Wireless-AC3168 software

The Intel Driver & Support Assistant tells me that there is an update.  When I went onto the site and clicked on "Install Driver", it tried for a while and then came back with " Install Fail" message.  After perusing your site, I found that this problem has been posted previously so I wondered if anyone had found a work around.  I have downloaded the suggested drivers but when I click on it, the message comes up asking if I want to install it but when I click "yes", it won't run. 

This is the file recommended for download but it will not run WiFi_21.110.1_Driver64_Win10.

We would like to inform you that we are currently investigating this behavior. In the meantime, the driver 21.110.1 has been removed from our download center and the recommendation is to stay with the previous version of the driver (21.90.3):
