Hi bought a laptop Dell insprino 7537 models.

rise in online games, but I'm having instant ping

Ping values, 40 - 90 of 300 -900 while she is getting.

Can you post a ping test of your router 360 times?

To do this just run cmd.exe and type (no quotes) "ping (your router's gateway) -n 360" and enter key. A normal ping should look something like below. Mine is also a Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 with Dell's 16.8.0.6 drivers:

That's what is causing your lag. That ping spikes would literally kick you out of the server. A consistent ping of 1 - 20 ms to the router is needed for lag free connection. It might be something to do with WiFi interference. Since you have a 5 GHz capability with your laptop, I highly recommend for you to use it instead of connecting to 2.4 GHz since there are a lot of noises that interferes with that frequency. If you live in USA, a cheap $ 25 Netgear Refurbished WNDR3400v1 router on Amazon is all you need (this is my secondary router/AP by the way and it's only broadcasting 5 GHz). You can set that refurb router as an AP so that you can still use your primary router. My primary router is Netgear WNR2000v2 since I have other devices that need the 2.4 GHz band. I stream media through WiFi a lot so I needed minimum RF noise which the 5 GHz band deliver.

I update the driver but still the problem continues.

I use it as a modem to Asus n12.

In connection protocol B + G+ N 2.4 GHz

Dell 7537 with everyone have this problem area.

Correction of this problem, we have the opportunity to take the 5 GHz modems yet?

It sounds like the modem that you use (I assume it's the ISP issued modem) has a built-in WiFi. If that's the case, you can leave that modem alone and purchase a DUAL BAND router (dual band guarantees that it has 5 ghz radio) which you set up as an AP or you can buy a "true" AP (eg. Ubiquity UniFi PRO which is expensive BTW). I happen to live in very WiFi infested apartment where all of my devices not just my laptop suffer random ping spikes due to WiFi interference. Like I wrote previously, 5 GHz radio is the solution since it eliminates most of radio interference and it has way more channels available. The disadvantage is just the range is 1/2 of the 2.4 GHz range.

If the USB WiFi doesn't have massive ping spikes at 2.4 GHz, the drivers or the 7260 might be at fault. I suggest for you to test it out and see.

Theveterans is right. The 5 Ghz band is great to reduce radio interference. And a good router makes a big difference. I get good range on the 5 Ghz band and my 2.4 Ghz band performs better after I bought a Netgear N900 Dual Band Gigabit Router (WNDR4500). I replaced another brand of router, whose name I shall not mention. The difference was like night and day. I saw the Amazon reviews before I bought the router and other people were also having good luck with this router. It's not a fix for every wireless issue, but a good router or access point does make a big difference.

GUYS I SOLVED THE PROBLEM

i tried all the drivers from the different threads and the problem still persists. I assume that Intel has a technical design flaw in the card which they are not willing to admit (otherwise the company will go bankrupt).

So, the only solution is to switch to another card. As someone suggested in another thread, I chose Broadcom 94352 (Broadcom 4352), otherwise known as Azurewave AW-CE123H.

It has all the same functions (b/g/n/ac, bt4.0) and works flawlessly.

 

7260 is unfixable, unreliable crap. Same as 6235.

Intel can go **** itself.

Glad the Broadcom works for you. One thing to note though is that Broadcom disables roaming when streaming (wmm). Intel 7260 doesn't do this automatically on some configurations but Intel 7260 on my laptop behaves the way broadcom cards work.
