I have a 2007 Sony laptop, Intel Centrino Duo, running XP. Driver update utility identified my Pro/Wireless 3945 ABG Network Connection driver be updated to ProSet /Wireless SE Stub 188.8.131.52 which I have downloaded. When it tries to install, I get a message saying that I must uninstall my present driver first. How do I do this?
First, uninstall Intel® Proset Software from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and restart your system.
