How do i fix audio buzzing and lag in win10 for intel 5100 agn wlan card

I have a dell precision m6400 laptop with intel 5100 agn wlan card

this link will explain what buzzing im talking about

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax7QMhIwsQE&list=PLqEQuwlfwN0a7oqm_4_aO_Wz-GregSAoO HOW TO FIX AUDIO BUZZING AND LAG IN WINDOWS 7 - YouTube

I don't know if this is caused by the wlan card...… going on the assumption that the info in the video is correct

I have 4 identical laptops....I will be testing with them swapping wlan cards tomorrow

I have win10 on the m6400 now and there are no win10 drivers on the dell site or the intel site that I have found so far

is there a newer card I can put in that is compatible with win10

these are listed on the intel site, if one of these is the same form factor will it work possibly?

Note: The following products support only 64-bit version of Windows 10.

  • Intel® Wireless-AC 9461
  • Intel® Wireless-AC 9462
  • Intel® Wireless-AC 9560
  • Intel® Wireless-AC 9260
  • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265
  • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260
  • Intel® Tri-Band Wireless-AC 18260
  • Intel® Tri-Band Wireless-AC 18265

This is a Belarc report

Are there settings I can make to the existing card, or drivers that will work with win10

Thanks

Hello Madmaxx42

I regret to inform you that Intel Customer Service no longer responds to telephone, chat, or e-mail inquiries for Intel® Wi-Fi Link 5100 but you may want to try our Discontinued Products Community to get recommendations from fellow community members when it comes about drivers, since you equipment only supports drivers up to Windows* 7.

Regarding the Wireless card upgrade, the best recommendation at this time is for you to contact the respective system manufacturer since the wireless integration for laptop adapters is subject to regulatory approval due to FCC or similar local regulations. Only the system manufacturer is entitled to provide the list of validated cards that are compatible with your system.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other question or concern.

Regards,
