I need to monitor the 'Noise level' and the 'Signal strenght' of my wireless link on a AC 8260 card from an external application developed on LabVIEW (Windows 7 and 10). This informations areb displayed by the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wifi software.

Is there a specific library i could use (PanApi.dll for example) and if yes where can i find the descritpion of the functions interfaces ?

Or is there a way to access to a Intel private MIB with SNMP protocol ?

Thanks

Hello JMD31,

As you mentioned, noise level and signal strength can me monitored usinghttps://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000007149/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software Enterprise. Please bear in mind that this doesn't apply for Windows * 10.

Intel currently does not offer software development options (such as libraries) with this software, the same goes for the the different protocols involved such as SNMP. Nevertheless you may check the Developer Zone site at the link below:

- https://software.intel.com/en-us/support Intel® Developer Zone Support

On the bottom of the site you can find the available libraries and other development resources for our software products.

Feel free to post again if anything else is required.

Best regards,
