Answer each of these questions:
What wireless adapter do you have?
What is your PC/Laptop manufacturer and model number?
What OS are you using?
Did you upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.x to Windows 10?
What is your processor model number?
Did your wireless adapter work prior to the download?
What did you download and from where?

Did the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG come with your laptop?
Was it working on Windows 7?
Also, it is very unlikely that the Atheros adapter will work with the Intel driver.

Yes, it comes with the laptop
It was working on Windows 7, but you have to be really close to the router, after 10-15 feet away from the router, you can barely get Wifi.
Do you have any solutions to it? maybe like another wireless adapter that I can download?

Your laptop has no drivers from Sony for Windows 10.
There is a driver on the Sony site for your adapter for Windows 7.
https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVE15115FXS&upd_id=7580&os_group_id=6 Sony eSupport - SVE15115FXS - Drivers & Software
You may want to use this driver for Windows 10 (dated 3/26/2016): http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Atheros%20AR9485WB-EG Microsoft Update Catalog
Any support you need should come from Sony support for your wireless adapter, as Qualcomm does not provide support to the consumer:

Hello Jkxl,
As Al Hill mentioned, your Qualcomm Atheros Wireless Network Adapter will not work with Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers.
The Qualcomm wireless adapter in you computer is a physical device (Hardware), if you wish to replace it, you would have to contact the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support or their authorized service provider in order to determine if other adapters are supported, and to buy the new device from them if possible. The compatible applications and drivers (Software) required for your system depend on the actual hardware installed on it.
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers are bound to physical Intel® Wireless Adapters, and can only be installed and used if you have a supported Intel adapter in the PC.
If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your PC, we strongly advise to engage https://esupport.sony.com/EN/VAIO Sony Support for assistance about it.
Regards,
Jonathan.

Yeah , Qualcomm Atheros is another manufacturing company which build network cards. So for that you need to install its driver that can be downloaded from their site. After that you would be able to see it in the device manager. Hope this will work...
