I use this card 8265NGW when i go into S3 it will wake by himself

We Know that The USB signal for this card is from HUB not Kaby lake U

Our Hub is GL852G is there any setting to adjust from card?

Hello KHSIA3, Thank you for posting on the Intel® Communities. Is this an integration? Can you let us know more information about your set up? Amy C Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation

Hi Amy

what's mean integration?

We design a mother board with CPU kaby lake U, there are three Wifi/BT network card Slot (M.2 E-Key), and we have some problems in BT (USB2.0 signal), 2Port's USB2.0 is from the PCH, and the other 1Port is from the GL852G hub We plug the Intel 8265NGW network card into from GL852G hub Port Slot, and the S3 will wake up by itself, And we inserting the Intel network card into From PCH Port Slot will work normally and will not wake up by itself.

And we try that From GL852G hub Port Slot with Realtek and Qualcomm's network card into S3 will not be automatically woken up.

So I want to ask, have you encountered any problems with the compatibility of GL852G and Intel network card before? Is there a solution?

Intel® System Support Utility report in attachment

2. Fill out this form.

Problem details

We insertion of the intel network card and go into S3 will be automatically awakened. The network card model is Intel 8265NGW.

The network card that tests no problem has the following:

Qualcomm QCNFA364A,

Realtek RTL8822BE,

Intel 3165NGW,

Intel 7265NGW

And the USB signal we connect to this Intel 8265NGW network card is from the GL852G Hub.

We also connect the USB signal from the CPU (KBLU) to the 8265NGW network card, this problem does not occur.

This problem will also occur after the HUB vendor has change a different vendor's HUB.

Is it possible to have a relationship with the upper BT driver and Host?

Or it's Compatibility problem between 8265NGW& USB Hub?

KHSIA3, thank you for that information. Can you please clarify how are you physically doing this 'USB signal we connect to this Intel 8265NGW network card is from the GL852G Hub. We also connect the USB signal from the CPU (KBLU) to the 8265NGW network card'? How do you get those connected? Amy C Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation

KHSIA3, thank you for your patience. After reviewing your case, we concluded that the best place for you to get accurate answers is our Resource Design Center. You can also try checking with your Intel engineer(FAE). The type of information you are requesting is not available through our level of support this is why RDC is the best place for you. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/design/resource-design-center.html Amy C Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation
