Intel 5300 wireless NIC - Win7x INF driver no where to be found

For some odd reason, Intel is now one of the companies which only releases a single .exe (or zip packed exe) which installs both driver and some odd application.

Where can one download the 13.5.0.0 driver for Intel 5300 WLAN NIC, with extractable .INF files? The current .EXE files doesn't allow:

- the built in Windows device manager to check if the driver is suitable for the actual system

- the user to install the driver without the GUI application.

I believe if you go to the download section and click on the link you will get 2 options, one to download drivers only and one to download software with drivers.

and if you choose the correct file you should have no worries about it being the correct drivers.
