jeff656361,
The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 does not offer support for Wave 2 but, it is compatible with Cisco CCX* (CCX 4.x* and CCX Lite) as you can confirm here: http://www.intel.my/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/dual-band-wireless-ac-8260-brief.pdf Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 - Product Brief - Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi, Aleki,
Thanks for the reply, so may I said that Intel 8260 WLAN card does not support 802.11ac wave 2?
Does it support 802.11ac wave 1?
By the way you can find another version of 8260 product brief, 332827-003US, Cisco CCX wording was removed. So I am confusing it, please refer to below screen shot.
Best regards

jeff656361,
The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11ac IEEE 802.11ac standard was approved in January 2014 and this, you can technically call it "Wave 1". Intel® Wireless Adapters launched in early 2014 with AC capabilities are considered "Wave 1" compatible. The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 was launched in 2015 as you can confirm it here:http://ark.intel.com/products/86068/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-8260 Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260-Specifications.
Where did you find such documentation with the missing wording? Could you be so kind and provide us the link to it? The documentation we have sent you is the Intel's official documentation is located in public domain and it is the link we have sent you previously.
Please, let us know if you have anymore questions or doubts,
Best regards,
Aleki
