Intel AC 7265 802.11v support

As per your web site announcement on May 25th, the Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 chip should support 802.11v BSS Transition Capability;

My tests with latest driver 18.40.4.2 dated May 19th reveals that 802.11v capability is not recognized by some APs;

Could some-one at Intel please confirm driver version 18.40.4.2 is expected to support 802.11v? or do I have to wait for a new driver update?

Hello DPatel,

The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 supports 802.11v in Windows® 10, as noted in the advisory:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000021562.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000021562.html

We would like to mention that the Access Points may also have requirements to work with 802.11v. If your tests worked with some AP's, but did not work with others, we recommend you to check with the AP vendor on this as well.

For additional assistance, let us know the details of the computers, OS, access points, and other information you consider relevant for this matter.

The AP vendor is Aruba Networks.

The same AP and firmware is able to detect Samsung S7 phone with 802.11v;

I am using Windows 10 Dell laptop as wireless client.
