I have Intel AC-9260 and Ubuntu 20.04. Kernel: 5.13.0-37-generic.
I sometimes see available wifi with very low signal.
If i try to connect, it doesn't connect 99% of the time. And 1% of the time it connects and provides very low speed internet. And disconnects after sometime.
Things I tried:
1- options iwlwifi 11n_disable=8 and 1 swcrypto=1 bt_coex_active=0
2- Downloading latest 9260 firmware from intel website and putting it in /lib/firmware
But no success.
Please help me fix this.
Tell me if you need any other info from my side.

Hello nikhilchhabra,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:
- Did you download the firmware from this website directly? (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/wireless.html) Or did you look for the latest firmware version available for the kernel in https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/
- Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
- Was the wireless card working fine at some point before?
As well, please run a report with the Intel® System Support Utility for Linux (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18895/26735/intel-system-support-utility-for-the-linux-operating-system.html?) and attach the file to your reply.
Best regards,
Steven G.
