Intel AC-9560 Bluetooth 'wake up' time

Hello! I'd first like to preface this by saying I've had a similar issue when using wired earbuds, and was ultimately a Realtek issue and fixed with a registry edit. However, the problem has risen when using bluetooth, which leads me to believe it is a AC-9560 driver issue or something of the sorts.

The problem is such: when audio begins to play, it takes maybe half a second for the audio to actually start playing through my headphones. For example, no music is playing and I will receive an audible notification sound, the sound will not be played through my headphones because they have not "woken up" so-to-speak. If music or any sounds are already playing and the same notification comes through, the sound will be heard, because they have already "woken up".

I'm very sorry if this explanation is confusing, it is similar to the Realtek "IdlePowerState" issue, if you would like to google that for more information. If you have any questions or need any extra info please do ask! I appreciate all help, thank you.

To better assist you, we would like to have more information about this issue.

  • Please generate a system report with the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach it to this thread.

  1. Intel® SSU Download link
  2. Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  3. Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  4. To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

  • What is the model number of the wireless headphones?
  • Does this configuration work as expected if you connected the headphones to another computer?
