I have been using the Intel Wi-fi 6 AX200 160Mhz for about 3 weeks now and after i did a bios update on my motherboard i am getting between 5 and 35 Mbps maximum wi-fi, have in mind on the same spot my desktop is in right now i was getting 100 Mbps(My internet connection's max) before the bios update.

Is there someone that can help me find a solution?

I have tried the following:
Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers.

Re-sited the adapter.

Restarted it many times.

Disabled and enabled the adapter many times.

Restarted the router many times.(All of my other devices are hitting my connection's maximum of 100 Mbps, if not that just bellow it at a minimum of 95Mbps)

Hi dkkoronakis,

Thank you for posting in the community.

I see that you already conducted several troubleshooting to isolate the situation. I have some follow up question which will help me identify the best possible resolution on your situation.

  1. Can you share to me if there is error message seen on your device manager?
  2. Can you share to me if before the BIOS does your wifi connection is working properly?
  3. Can you confirm if your Wi-Fi antenna is properly attached on your Wi-Fi adapter?

Also, to better understand your entire system information, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This will generate a text file that compiles all your system information. You can follow this link for instructions and send the text file here. How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows

Sorry for the delayed answer i was away!

1. No errors on the device manager.

2. Before the BIOS update the wi-fi connection was working properly and i was getting the max my router is giving me(100 Mbps)

3. I can confirm that both antennas are properly attached on the wi-fi adapter.

I am attaching the SSU log as well as requested!

Hi dkkoronakis,

Thank you for giving this information, it seems that your system are all up to date. It is just that currently we have an updated wireless driver. Could you try to perform Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers, and try to install the latest Wireless Driver 23.70.2. Also, could you tell me the model of your router? Also, what channel is currently set on your router?

Hey Dhanniel,

I checked my router's 5Ghz channel and it was on channel 36, after changing it manually and letting it change automatically again, it went to channel 100 and the problem was solved! I have my full network speed again!! I updated the drivers with the ones you mentioned above, just to be sure that i am on the latest drivers for the network card!

Thanks for the support!
