Please help...Windows event log is full of stuff but IDK what it means
I tried to attach the Intel Driver & Support system report to this thread but it says HTML is not supported as an attachment!?!?
I'll be playing rocket league and all of a sudden my ping will go super high (normally ping is 17ms) -- game will lag and will be unplayable
If I load a browser my download speeds slow to crawl
This is in a DESKTOP computer that doesn't even move too
I tried reuploading the report but as a zip file, and I also took a screenshot of the event viewer
PLEASE HELP INTEL
Can I also ask why these Event viewer entries don't contain any useful info? What's up with that?
"The description for Event ID 6062 from source Netwaw16 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."
There's hundreds of those for Netwaw16, with different event IDs too...

I was able to temporarily fix this by disabling WiFi 7 and forcing the adapter into AX mode (wifi 6) in the network adapter properties / device manager in windows.
I’ve now been gaming for over an hour with no drops.
obviously this is not ideal, but at least it fixes the issue for now
I’m using a Ubiquiti U7-Pro Wi-Fi 7 access point running code 8.0.20 (current as of today)
Naturally also running latest Intel drivers as you can see from the system report as well as all windows & bios / platform updates etc

Hello 5urg3,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:
- When did you start using this wireless card?
- Was it working fine before?
- Did you change any settings before the issue started?
- What is your OS?
- Did you upgrade the wireless card of your system or this is the embedded wireless card of your system?
- What is the complete brand and model of your laptop/motherboard?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael L.

1.) I bought the BE200 module in March of last year, aside from some initial Linux kernel bugs, it has worked fine, never had any issues on Windows 11, until now
2.) It was working great until I updated to the latest Intel windows driver, but around that time I also did other updates (windows updates, and the access point firmware). I have never seen anything like this before. I have one other wifi7 device, an iPhone 16 pro, and that has no issues with the same access point. Even MLO works now, on the iPhone.
3.) No.
4.) Windows 11 and all the other info is available in the system report I uploaded
5.) I upgraded it myself from the previous Intel wifi6 module, which did come with the computer
6.) HP Z2 Mini G9 small form factor desktop, again this is in the system report info
If you’re not able to access the zip file please let me know and I’ll just post a screen shot of the HTML or something
Would it be possible to get an answer regarding the windows event log entries? Is there a way to enable verbose logging where it can tell me what the error codes actually mean?
That alone would make things a heck of a lot easier, and allow me to at least to attempt to debug this issue on my own.
Lastly, I’m going to just attempt to roll back the drivers to what I was using before (I’ll have to look that up.). Hopefully this is an easy process.

Well, so much for trying to roll back the drivers.
I guess this means I have to uninstall the newer one first?
Very dumb.
I don’t even see an uninstaller. There is a Bluetooth uninstaller in add / remove, but nothing for the WiFi.
I am generally not a Windows “power” user, if someone could please help and direct me to the proper way to uninstall or roll back the BE200 WiFi driver…thank you.

So, I opened a support request today with Ubiquiti.
They confirmed the issue is related to MLO.
I have one other MLO enabled device, an iPhone 16 pro, and that works fine.
They can see in the logs that the Intel BE200 is perpetually being disconnected by the AP, when MLO is enabled.
This also explains why forcing AX mode on the Be 200 client fixes the problem.
I have searched this exact forum and found many other people complaining about MLO not working properly.
Please reply, Intel. I would also like some clarification regarding the event log entries, and how we can make sense of those error codes.
I would also like to know if Intel has actually tested MLO themselves, and what access points they have tested with, and what firmwares, if there are any limitations, etc.
Mister Mike, please get engineers from the wireless team to assist, ASAP. Thank you.

Hello 5urg3,
Thank you for the update.
Regarding your configuration, we have a Regulatory document for customer's who upgraded their wireless card.
Kindly check the document below and as per the document, you need to seek assistance to the manufacturer of the system/laptop or motherboard. Please check the link below:

You are denying me support because I upgraded the wifi card?
This is disgusting.
Intel deserves to have their stock price go to zero as far as I'm concerned.
IDK what happened to this company over the past 10 years, but it's nothing good.
To be clear --
HP sells this exact system WITH THE BE200 in it as an option now -- it wasn't an option when I first purchased the computer because Wifi7 wasn't a thing in 2023.
It uses the SAME ANTENNA DESIGN as the previous version.
And it was also working just fine prior to the driver upgrade.
The issues are CLEARLY driver / firmware related, and there's nothing HP or anyone else besides Intel can do to help.
This is nothing more than you not wanting to support your own products. And this is a pattern with Intel. You do the same thing with Thunderbolt. "Go talk to the OEM" -- and then a week later when someone from the OEM's outsourced tech support actually replies, they ask YOU a question like "And what exactly is thunderbolt?"
These support reps don't even know what these techs even are, let alone get training on them!
So exactly how is HP supposed to help me with a driver / firmware bug relating to drivers and firmwares that they don't even have access to the source code of?
But that's fine. Qualcomm makes Wifi7 modules and has Windows and Linux drivers.
I believe MediaTek does as well!
Time to throw this Intel BE200 in the trash where it belongs, and start doing business with your competitors.

Hi 5urg3,
I am writing to follow up on your concern. Once again, I extend my apologies as our previous communication was intended to set expectations regarding integration. To address the issue you are encountering, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Perform a clean installation and install the OEM wireless driver from HP using this link: HP Wireless Driver. If the issue persists, install our generic wireless driver version wire.
- Update the BIOS, as the current version is 03.03.04 according to the logs, but the latest version available on the HP website is 03.03.11.
- Try connecting to different access points.
- Perform a Windows update.
If the issue remains unresolved, please let us know so we can further investigate. You can also check this link for the complete system drivers: [https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-z2-mini-g9-workstation-desktop-pc/2101025774].

Forget it. I'm convinced this is a Ubiquiti problem anyway, after troubleshooting for ~2 weeks.
Whatever the AP is doing, it still shouldn't cause the firmware / driver to crash like this, but it's clear to me at this point -- that it's their problem, and I doubt Intel would do anything differently anyway.
Just super frustrating that there's no human readable event logs / verbose mode or whatever on the Intel adapter side, on Windows 11.
After changing some settings on the AP I am able to get this stable again. Still not sure how it ended up in that state, but it had something to do with PMF / WPA3, I think. Or maybe changing that was the catalyst to fix some other problem, who knows.

Hello 5urg3,
I hope this message finds you well.
Upon further checking, we recommend to kindly work further with the OEM which is HP, as we do not support integrations of non-Desktop kits.
They are the best team who can further guide you with the integration and configuration inside the BIOS and within the Operating system.
Since you need to consult the OEM manufacturer, I need to close this inquiry.
If you need further assistance, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you and have a great day.
Best regards,
Michael L.
