Check your adaptor the 14.1.1 is only for later cards if you have a 6200 you need version 13.5

I think you'll find that the 13.5 driver is the latest for the 6300.
Notice how both the 13.5 and the 14.1.1 say latest in the status on the donload page.
13.5 is the latest for earlier versions ie.6000 and 6300
14.1.1 is latest for later cards ie. 6205

Having the exact same issues.
On a fresh format, cannot install 14.1.1.0 drivers. The drivers are unable to properly install hardware driver.

Same here. Trying to install 14.1.1 on the 6205 card. Get an error that it can't install the software. This is for Windows 7 Enterprise, 64-bit, Dell Latitude E6420. Not sure what I'll try next. Nothing is working so far.

Kathy,
If you did a fresh install, did you install the notebook system utility(if applicable) and the chispet drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&docid=268873&doclang=en&l=en&s=gen&cs= How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Go to start, control panel, device manager, network. I noticed that the 6200 was still there. I right clicked on it, then left clicked uninstall. It asks you if you want to remove and associated software with it. I clicked yes. When it was done, I restart the computer.
Now install the drivers you downloaded. Choose custom and make sure to install everything you want to install.
You can use the drivers from Dell's http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen Drivers & Downloads or you can download the drivers from http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/wireless Intel® Driver Update Utility for wireless networking I am currently using 13.2.1.0 drivers.
