We have problems with a Fujitsu Notebook on Windows 10 pro (64 bit 1607 current Updates installed)
Version of the N-6205 Driver is 15.18.0.1 installed over Windows Update.
The Card connects to the wireless Network and after 5-10 seconds the Connection will be dropped.
This is tested in various WLAN environments, the connection is lost after some seconds
The same Notebook Modell with Windows 7 have no problem to connect to the WLAN
I take any help or Suggestion.

Hello ajgreiner,
The Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205 supports Windows® 10 with Windows 8* or 8.1* drivers. The driver available on Windows Update should work well. Here are some items for your consideration:
- Contact the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support and try using their recommended drivers, as well as other applicable updates for your system.
- Try performing a clean installation of the driver and software using our generic version:
1. As first option obtain the driver from the Computer Manufacturer Support. If the issue persists, you can try our generic version 19.40.0 that can be downloaded from the following website:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26598/Wireless-Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?product=59471 Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 [19.40.0]
2. Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features and Uninstall "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software", if it is installed. When prompted, choose the option to "Discard settings".
3. In Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapters, right click on the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205 and Uninstall it. Make sure you mark the option to "Delete the driver software for this device".
4. Reboot the PC or scan for hardware changes, check device manager and if an older wireless driver is detected and installed, repeat the actions to uninstall and delete it as well. Repeat this process until the OS does not allow deleting the driver, or until the controller shows as Unknown Device.
5. Remove temporary files: Press the Windows Key + R to open the run box. Type Cleanmgr.exe. Press OK. Select the main drive, usually C:\. Check Temporary Files and uncheck everything else. Press OK.
6. Install the Intel Wireless driver. During the first steps of PROSet/Wireless installation, make sure to customize the installation and install all driver components.
- Disable the Bluetooth component of your PC, this is normally done with a hardware switch or a key combination.
- Try placing the computer closer to the access point and check if it helps.

Hello ajgreiner,
If the issue persists after our previous recommendations, it may actually be a hardware issue. Please check with the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support on this.
Feel free to let us know if you require further assistance from our end.
