Intel DCCP847DYE and Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

I have an http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-nuc-kits/intel-nuc-kit-dccp847dye.html Intel® NUC Kit DCCP847DYE running Windows 10.

I got the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-products/dual-band-wireless-ac-7260-bluetooth.html Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Plus Bluetooth*, plugged it up, connected the internal antennas, and installed the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005478.html PROSet/Wireless Software.

The software appears to be installed. I physically shut down my computer and turned it back on.

There are no wireless adapters displayed in Device Manager.

I can't seem to get any wireless icons to enable.

It is like the wireless card is disabled in the BIOS. I have the latest 0058 BIOS update, too.

I ran the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html Intel® Driver Update Utility to make sure I had the latest drivers, but there is nothing new displayed.

I am good with Windows, and I am a C# software developer. I just do not see any way to get this wireless card to show up.

What am I missing?

Today, Windows 10 was acting up, so I shut it down again and rebooted.

When Windows 10 came back up, the wireless network adapter just showed up.

I didn't do anything.

Hello jp2code,

There are different reasons why a new adapter may not show in your computer, it could have been a detection issue in the OS, or the hardware; as you mentioned, rebooting is always a good step if the hardware and drivers are properly installed.

We are glad to know that it is working correctly now. Feel free to let us know if you require further assistance.

The only thing I would like to add are the links for the http://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/75439/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-7260 Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Downloads, where you can obtain the latest WiFi and Bluetooth* drivers:
