Intel Dual Band-N 7260 - Bluetooth Problem

Hi,

I'm using a Dell Inspiron 7537 with Intel Dualband N 7260 wifi card.

I'm facing problem to use the bluetooth, like incomplete pairing with bluetooth devices; after initial pairing it connects to internet to install some driver, and then the device is showing driver error. I tried with switching off internet, but then it's showing incomplete set up.

I tried with generic windows driver as well as latest intel driver (17.0.1401.422), but no success.

After checking the post by other users, it seems this issue is present for long, but Intel developers are unable to fix it.

I dont understand why intel or Dell use such cheap products in high end laptops.

Not only bluetooth but also the wifi on this 7260 cards is headache....some time it feels like i should throw this intel card to thrash bin and get a good quality Atheros card.

Hey Intel folks, tell me if you guys can fix it or should i remove it and purchase something useful.

A coworker tried this on Friday and he was able to paired two different cell phones to a computer using the same wireless adapter model.

I'm wondering if you could check the Microsoft event viewer on your system. You may find an error code or some helpful information in order to find out what is causing this behavior.

Please let me know.

Hi tdas777,

I would like to know some more information about the configuration you have so can you attach your dxdiag report here?

How to get it?

Dxdiag Report: Type dxdiag in Start Menu> open> Save> Attach using Advanced Editor Options.

Can you also provide the driver version installed on the computer?
