I have Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 on ASRock B660M-ITX/AC. I read adapter spec up to 433 Mbps. My router have 5Ghz connection and 20/40/80 Mhz widh. When connecting to WiFi, the maximum link speed obtained is only 86.7mbps at a very close distance to the router.
I tried it on another laptop and the result was that the laptop could get a link speed of 877 Mbps over a longer distance
I have also installed the latest drivers for Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168

Have you updated your wireless driver? If not, do a driver update. This may solve the issue if it is due to an old driver or a wrong setting. You can use this link to update your driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html

What is the make and model of your router?
Is this only happening with 5ghz network or 2.4ghz also?
Have you tried using different AP?
When running a speed test, what is the max upload and download speed you’re getting?
Have you check if the antennas are connected properly?

Also, I would like to know if the wifi card is pre installed on your motherboard. I have checked the specs and it appears to be included.
