I have a machine with an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 wifi chip. I want to use the my wifi hotspot feature with it but am running into some issues. I have driver version 15.3 installed, and My Wifi Dashboard 15.2 installed. Both are the latest available versions. I can get the hotspot feature to work with no problems after I install the My Wifi Dashboard. When I open the dashboard, it opens the full version, and I am able to turn on Wifi Direct and Hotspot. It all works great until my machine needs a restart. When I restart, the next time I open the dashboard, it opens the "Lite" version, where I am unable to enable Wifi Direct or Hotspot. The only way I have found to get it to work again is to reinstall Intel My Wifi Dashboard.
Thank you for your post. I also sent you a private message.
Something you can do is update to the latest version of the software and wireless drivers, most of these issues are caused due to driver/software mismatch.
