Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235 very slow to connect

Hi

I work in a school and we have 60 Stone i3 4gb memory 256ssd Win7 64bit laptops and I'm having a real issue getting the laptops to connect to the wireless in time for the log on scripts to run

From being first switched on and logged onto the desktop it takes a further 21 second for the laptops to connect to the wireless. This means the drives / printer aren't mapped.

The driver installed on the laptops is 15.13.0.2 dated 22/07/2014

I've tried the following all to no avail....

I've uninstalled the wireless card deleted the driver and re-installed the following driver...

I've navigated to the Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Under Wireless Adapter Setting, changed the Power Saving mode on battery to Maximum Performance.

I've unticked the option to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option in power management in device manager...

I wondered if anyone else has any suggestions?

Did the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6235 come already installed in these laptops or was it installed after they were bought? If they came already installed, the drivers must be installed directly from the Stone support page as our drivers found in our support page are generic and may not fit the specifications for your laptop system as the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) adapts it to fit their system. From Stone* Support Page you can use the driver finder: http://www.stonegroup.co.uk/support/driver-finder/ Driver Finder | Support | Stone Group but you need to enter the serial number of you the laptops in order to help finde the correct drivers. Thanks for replying, the problem was present even with the Stone drivers installed. I installed the Intel drivers just to see if it made any difference but it didn't.
