Hello Annan,

Thanks for posting. We understand that you're looking to install Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 on your laptop.

You mentioned you're currently using a Realtek* adapter. Do you mean this is the wireless adapter? If that's the case, downloading the drivers will not install this device on your system as it is not physically present on it. Otherwise, you may download the https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-ac100-notebook-pc-series/8499326/model/9720001 drivers provided by the OEM or you can use https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005559/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html Intel generic drivers.

Please bear in mind that Intel does not support, nor recommends custom integration of wireless adapters since this may lead to installation errors, connection issues, software error messages, and in some cases it may even be illegal. You should always https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp contact the Computer Manufacturer Support or its authorized representative to check which adapters are supported by your computer and replace it with them whenever possible.
