My Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz appears to drop the connection 20+ times a day for 10sec-2 minutes at a time.  I work from home and this kicks me out of meetings all day long.

When I open the event viewer, I see several event IDs being thrown when the disconnection is happening.

------------

The description for Event ID 5007 from source Netwtw14 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\NDMP2
Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

------------

then

----------

event ID 5005: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz : Has encountered an internal error and has failed.

--------

Then

----------

event ID 5002: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly.

---------

and this repeats throughout the day. I ran the Intel SSU and the report is attached.  Any help is appreciated

  1. Are you using a desktop or laptop? Please provide the brand and model of your system?

Desktop. Built it myself.

2. Is it working fine before?

Yes was working fine for months after I upgraded to the Wi-Fi 6E AX210

3. Did you upgrade the wireless controller or is it embedded in your system?

It's not embedded. I upgraded the controller last year and it worked great for months before this problem started.   I disabled the built in controller Intel wireless-AC 9560 160MHz.

Hello pjuedes,

Thank you for the clarification.

We have a regulatory information about upgrading the wireless card. You need to check the issue with the motherboard/system manufacturer for further checking and configuration. Kindly read more about that in the link below:
