Hi,
I am really getting tired of this. First of all I have a Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz soldered down. So it's not something I can easily change.
I have a TP-Link Deco BE85 Mesh network. That has 2.4, 5, 6 and 7(MLO) network options.
This card is categorically refusing to see the 6GHz network. It does see and let me connect to the 7(MLO) network just not on the 6GHz band. It also shows me a Hidden Network with the same power as all the others that I can't connect to. Which I am pretty sure by now is the 6GHz network.
I have tried to purge all the drivers on my system. I have used all the driver settings that do actually point to the 6GHz options I have disabled power control. I have set everything as powerfull as I can but nothing, nothing works. I also get the netwtw14 device not started.
This is really driving me bonkers and I have looked everywhere and tried anything I could find to get this to work, but it looks like the Intel Drivers are just not working properly. I do have a Dell Laptop 17 9720 it also runs the Killer Intelligence Center they supply so perhaps that can be a problem, but really this is just bad.
I have had a bad experience with the AX201 and now the AX211 as well. When is this going to end? Do I really have to switch over to something that isn't intel? I'm building a home server next and if this isn't resolved I am switching to AMD for everything.
I'll add an SSU when it is needed as it carries too much info of my system which I am not ready to divulge yet.

What is the modem/router your using to connect to the mesh network ? Is it a 6E modem or router ? Is it a 7 modem or router ?

I could plug an sfp+ aoc cable in the mesh and connect it up with glass fibre and it should still work. There is no other network active. The connection to the outside is simply bridged with a lan cable modem with no active WiFi network.

Turn off your wifi on your modem/router and bridge through TP-Link BE85 and see if that makes the difference also use Windows Powershell to list your networks and all connections connected and not connected. In device manager is Ultra High Band enabled ? Are you using the mesh network as a lan or wifi or both ?
What does protocol show in Windows 11 ? start-settings-Network & Internet-properties-under ssid- protocol-- Wi-Fi 6 or 6E ?
Cheers

Hi AileanR
I'm truly sorry to hear about the ongoing frustration you're experiencing with your Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211. It sounds like you've already invested a significant amount of time trying to troubleshoot this issue. Your patience in dealing with this is appreciated, and I'm here to assist you in finding a resolution.
Please generate an SSU report to help me further analyze important details on your system. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Please send us the generated SSU.txt file.
Please answer the following questions:
- When did this issue start to occur?
- Are you using any security features on your network that might prevent the Intel Card from detecting the 6E GHz network?
- Does the Killer Intelligence Center have any specific network settings or profiles enabled that could be influencing the connectivity?
- Have you done other troubleshooting steps?
- Have you checked the router's configuration to ensure that the 6E GHz band is properly enabled and not restricted to specific devices?
We look forward for your response!
Best Regards,
Robbie R.
