I have been reading about the issues associated with the Intel® WiFi Link 5100 , and I have been having the same problems with an Acer Aspire 6930z laptop. The biggest problem is that the wifi disconnects and I have to take numerous actions to get it re-connected. Short of buying a USB wifi device, which I am seriously considering, what are my options for buying a different Intel wifi card? Which other card will replace the 5100 Wi-Fi Link Wireless Adapter, 512AN_MMWW2?
