Intel Wireless Chipset | Wireless hung after RADAR detection.

Chipset:
Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 8265

We have 70+ laptops in our location connected to the access point which is operating in dual band 2.4 and 5G.
Suddenly, we could notice all 70 laptops are losing connection and after that adapter is not connecting to any of the SSID.

While trouble shooting, we had noticed about the RADAR detection and which caused the capability change in the Intel Wireless Chipset.
Even rebooting the Laptop is not helping.
While doing the capture, Access point's beacon is having channel switch info and this issue happens only with this chipsets. We have laptop with Intel AC 9XXX, which is working fine and other models like laptops, mobiles are working fine.

Note: This issue occurs when the Operation mode changes from 11ACVHT80 to 11ACVHT40plus.

Please run the following tool in Windows* and attach the report generated. (If all the laptops are the same model with the same configuration, just provide one report, if don't please attach 1 report for each different system)

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)

  • Intel® SSU Download
  • Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
