Hey all I wonder if you can help me out. I just upgraded my Acer laptops wireless card to the Intel Ultimate N 6300. The weird part is the driver installs just fine and it claims to be working in the device manager. The problem is that it doesn't seem to be fully enabled. What I mean is that it doesn't give me a list of Wireless Networks. Not even a blank list. I have the latest Intel drivers and I am running Windows 7 64bit. Please Help! I upgraded from the shiz Atheros AR5B97 that came with my computer cause it SUCKS and now I have no wireless at all. Thanks!

Hi Landon Harris,
Note that because the system manufacturer needs to comply with a large set of FCC and IEEE regulations for all radio frequency devices installed in their system, they will make sure that no unauthorized devices of this type are installed.
Due to this, the laptop manufacturer is the only one that can tell you which wireless cards can be installed in their laptop.
