Just upgraded to a AX200 and having trouble connecting to AC with 1024 QAM

I recently upgraded to an Intel AX 200 but am having trouble connecting to a GT-AC5300 above 866Mbps.

It only supports 80mhz max as far as I can tell but supports QAM 1024 on AC which they called NitroQAM. Since Quantenna and Broadcom added QAM 1024 on AC and now I am using AX which natively has QAM 1024 and would like to be able to use that. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Hwllo 252rer, I just received an update on this matter.

After reviewing the case, we noticed that the Router GT-AC5300 does not support the AX Technology, as you can confirm in the link below; that is the reason why even though you are using the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 card you cannot use the QAM 1024 option:

Yes, but the Router GT-AC5300 supports the QAM 1024 option added on to AC Technology. Does Intel allow this to work on AC when supported by other devices?

In reference to your question, "Does Intel allow this to work on AC when supported by other devices?" I will double-check on this topic and I will provide the response on this thread as soon as possible.

Hello 252rer, I just received an update on this matter.

After investigating on this topic, the only option or alternative that we suggest is to set up the Intel® Wireless card as AC not AX, and then check with the Router manufacturer directly to get the best suitable configuration for it, at this point that will be the next thing to do, to verify with manufacturer of the Router directly about the optimal settings configuration for it or use an AX router:
