Hi,

After upgrading the driver from lenovo update system to 21.90.2.1, my Anker Soundbuds Curve is can't connecting with my laptop.

Then I go to intel site finding more newer driver and got this newer version 22.0.0.2 and still can't making the headphones to connect again with my laptop.

I tried remove/unpairing the device but it cause can't pairing it again.

I tried uninstall the bluetooth driver and using old driver and working again.

But this driver is very old from 2018.

Working driver version 20.100.0.5
Not working 21.90.2.1 and 22.0.0.2

I attach the driver version.

My laptop model is Lenovo IdeaPad C340-14IWL
Product number : 81N4008MID
Bios version : AHCN32WWV2.09

wanarta, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

Just to let you know, we always recommend to install the Wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was heavily customized by them work with your specific platform.

The Intel® Wireless drivers are generic, meaning they might or might not work with your system.

You mentioned, "After upgrading the driver from lenovo update system to 21.90.2.1" and I also looked on Lenovo's web site and in fact, the latest Bluetooth driver version they have available in there is version 21.90.2.1.

So, what we can try is a clean installation of the Bluetooth and Wireless drivers provided by Lenovo following the instructions in the following link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/network-and-i-o/wireless.html

Lenovo's Bluetooth driver version 21.90.2.1:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-c-series-laptops/c340-14iwl/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Bluetooth%20and%20Modem

Lenovo's Wireless driver version 21.90.3.2:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-c-series-laptops/c340-14iwl/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Networking%3A%20Wireless%20LAN

If the problem persists, then we can try the same procedure, a clean installation of the drivers, this time of the Intel® Generic Wireless drivers, first Intel® Bluetooth driver version 22.0.0:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29919/Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-for-Windows-10?product=99446

And then the Intel® Wireless driver version 22.0.0:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29902/Windows-10-Wi-Fi-Drivers-for-Intel-Wireless-Adapters?product=99446

Once you get the chance, please let us know the results, if the problem remains after doing those updates please provide the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your computer:

Any questions, please let me know.

Hi wanarta, Thank you very much for providing that information and the SSU reports.

We will do further research on this matter, as soon as I get any updates I will post all the details on this thread.

Just to confirm, by any chance, did you try to get in contact with Lenovo/Anker directly to report this scenario, to verify if they have more reports about this problem with the same hardware that you are using and to maybe get a possible solution from them?

Hi Alberto,

I had contacted Anker support, but there weren't same problem happen like me.

I attached the last reply from Anker after I said the headphone working again after downgrade the BT Drivers.

I had not yet contact Lenovo support as when I updated using Intel drivers and still same, my conclusion that contacting Intel will be more reliable.

But, I will try contacting Lenovo support too.

Btw, forgot to mention, I had other laptop using Intel® Wireless-AC 9461 and same happen can't connect to my Anker headphones after updating the driver.

Working again after rollbacked the drivers.

When I saw at Intel Driver download, seem this drivers had same type with AC 9560 too that cause can't connecting with headphones.

Hi wanarta, Thank you very much for sharing those details, we are sorry to hear the issue persists.

At this point, just for testing purposes, do you have the option to do a rollback on Windows* to version build 1909 or a "Restore to Windows* Factory Settings" and install again that latest Bluetooth and Wireless driver just to confirm if the problem remains?

If you have the option to do this, please first, back up any important information you might have on the computer and also please get in contact directly with Lenovo support for guidance on this process, since they might have some restrictions on doing this procedure and they will be able to provide further details about that subject:

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/

Additionally, do you have the option to connect another Bluetooth device besides the Anker headphones to your laptop to verify if the issue persists with that other device?

Hi,

I had tried reset my Windows before writing in here and the problem still remains.

Connecting other BT devices like Logitect M337 and Wireless Speaker AKG S30 is no problem.

Thanks

Hell wanarta, I just received an update on this matter.

Since there are no issues with other Bluetooth devices, in this specific case, there could be an incompatibility problem with that specific hardware.

In this position, we recommend to check with Anker for a firmware update for the headphones and to confirm with them about what Bluetooth profile their hardware uses.

Keep in mind that Windows* 10 manages Bluetooth profiles natively, therefore, could be associated with the Operating System, for that same reason, we also suggest to get in contact directly with Lenovo to verify those details:
