Latest driver for intel dual band wireless-n 7260 Win 10 64bit

I´m looking for the latest driver for the Intel dual band wireless-n 7260 for Windows 10 64bit. The official support pages are not available (404). It would be very nice if anyone could tell me a download link. (f.e. url )

For the most part, the drivers for most USB controllers and Root Hubs are built into Windows 10. Those that didn't appear until long after your Windows 10 version was released may require a separate driver be installed (those supporting USB 3.1/3.2, for example). Considering the age of your laptop, all of the USB controllers and root hubs should be handled automatically.

Perhaps just as off-topic, with respect to these Wireless adapters, it is also important to understand that the USB-based Bluetooth drivers provided with Windows 10 do not work reliably with these adapters. It is thus important to install the Bluetooth driver package provided by Intel (or me, however you are looking at it).

Your drivers for wifi adapter and Bluetooth came up perfectly on Windows 10 for lenovo G710 and work well. But exactly for usb 3.0 the built-in drivers from windows 10 do not want to work, I read this on other forums where they were looking for a solution to this problem. Maybe there is a separate usb 3.0 driver for Windows 10?

No, there are no separate drivers - but this struck a chord: While the drivers are inbox with Windows 10, they are optimally configured by the Intel Chipset Device Software package. This is a package that Intel provides to OEMs based upon chipset they are using and the OEMs then can provide as-is or modified it to cover all of the base silicon on their system/motherboard. If this package is not installed by a user when installing Windows 10, they may see problems (Windows 10 is not perfect at doing this configuration separately). This is especially important when using SoCs, which have the processor and chipset embedded in a single device.

I would also add that it is important to ensure that the latest BIOS available is paired with this Chipset Device Software package. Install both.

Hope this helps - but, if it doesn't, you (and these other folks) should open separate thread(s) to discuss these issues. Each thread is supposed to be covering one issue for one person (the OP), not an amalgam of people and issues with multiple simultaneous conversations.

Thank you. The topic was opened on Lenovo forum, although it is not the only one there and so far they can't find any solutions. One person wrote that he installed Ubuntu for experiment and everything worked. But exactly on Windows 10 does not work, it connects and disconnects the device and so on in a circle. Before that stood Windows 8.1 such problems were not) All the same thanks, I will look for further solutions to this problem in the relevant topics.

I suggest that you install the drivers using clean install method. Here is a step-by-step process; follow it exactly:

1. If you haven't already, download to your PC - but do not install just yet - the Bluetooth and Wireless driver packages. You can find the approrpiate driver installation files in my legacy driver share: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtacZBU04mo-j-tQ34BdSDv6y1BFsg?e=7gn50T.
2. Most important! Disable Internet access. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable wireless. Keep disabled until told to re-enable. Note that this Wireless disable *must* be of type that will persist (stay disabled) across reboots.
3. From the Apps & Features applet, check for instances of Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Intel Wireless Bluetooth. If none, skip to Step 6.
4. Uninstall each instance of Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and/or Intel Wireless Bluetooth that is present. When prompted, choose "Discard Settings".
5. Manually reboot your computer, keeping Internet access disabled throughout.
6. From the Device Manager applet, check the Network Adapters section for an entry for Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 and check the Bluetooth section for an entry for Intel Wireless Bluetooth that has an intel driver associated with it. If neither is the case, go forward to Step 10.
7. Right click on the entry for Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 and uninstall it, choosing (checkmark) Delete the driver software for this device.
8. Right click on the entry for Intel Wireless Bluetooth and open its properties. If it has an Intel driver associated with it, then uninstall it, choosing to (checkmark) Delete the driver software for this device.
9. Go back to Step 5.
10. Install the downloaded Bluetooth driver package (my rule: always install Bluetooth first).
11. Install the downloaded Wireless driver package.
12. Manually shutdown and reboot your computer.
13. Reenable Internet access. Restore Ethernet cable connection and/or reenable wireless.
14. Test.

Note that it sometimes takes multiple uninstalls (and reboots) to clean out the old installations, so don't give up on the process until you hit, say, 10 reboots.

Yes, 18.33.17.1 is the version you should end up seeing in Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. If you have this already and are still having a problem, describe your problem in detail and we (the knowledgeable users) will see if we can puzzle it out.

When I click on the link appear the message that this page can not be opened, I have to check the internet connection and so on, but internet is good at this time. The problem on the driver is that it's dropping the signal offen, losing the connection. At those time there is no one wifi network is present my or neighbours, so sometimes it's recovering automatically after few minutes, or I have to press the troubleshooting button. Sometimes it's works, sometimes it's not. Before I had the same problem with my old internet provider, but I was spliting the signal in 2 bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz, so this 5 GHz band was doing the same, always was dropping signal, but 2.4 GHz was working with no issue. But this new Modem from Linksys has no option to do this kind of selection and I have no idea how to fix dropping signal problem. Sorry for my English, I trying to express as good as I can.

You are trying to use this WLAN adapter to access updated drivers? I suggest you download from another PC or smartphone.
If you have the latest driver version already, then next question is whether a smartphone is (still) working when the PC sees no SSIDs.
