NUC5i7RYH wireless network speed very slow

Hello,

I facing the issues with the wireless network speed. All other computers/phones at home (connected to the same router) has no issues (about 40Mbps up and down streams), meanwhile NUC5i7RYH just ~15Mbps. I have Windows10 with the latest drivers. I have reinstalled Windows, updated rivers (no other programs there which may cause the network speed), and did the test - result the same. I have tried to disable BlueTooth as red that it may be an issue. Also no success.

Could you please guide me how to fix this. What could cause network speed. Definitely this is something with drivers/setup. Could you suggest/provide some software or actions to perform to test and find the network speed issues please?

NUC has Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 wireless adapter.

Thanks in advance!

Hello PetrasL,

Here are some actions that may help improve the speed of your Wireless connection:

- Apply the configuration mentioned in the following document: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005544.html?wapkw=intel+wi-fi+recommended+settings Recommended Settings for 802.11n Connectivity

- Check the Power options of you laptop, in the Advanced Settings for your Power Plan, then make sure that the Wireless Adapter is set to work at "Maximum Performance" when plugged in and on battery.

For additional assistance we will need details of your system, such as the router model and firmware version.

Also, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility Download Intel® System Support Utility and use it to create and save a report, then you can use the Advanced editor options to attach the resulting file to this thread.

Hello PetrasL,

Here are couple things you can check based on the information you provided:

- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25833 Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 and install the latest driver package 18.40.0.

- The logs show that you are using Wireless-N (802.11n). If your router is not 802.11ac capable you may go to Device Manager - Network Adapters, select your Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 and open the Advanced properties. Then change the following:

HT Mode: Set to "HT Mode"

Let us know if this helps with the issue.
