Hi Indest, I tested the command with two different systems and in both cases 802.11ac was showing up.

Let's verify VHT mode is enabled in the advanced tab of the adapter properties window. Please indicate if you have modified any settings with the Administrator Tool.

Please uninstall Intel® PROSet Wireless Software from Programs and Features and the driver from Device Manager, restart your system, and then install the latest version again.

Joe, can you tell us why a radio might not be identified as AC like that in netsh, yet will still perform as it should?

I should add, I used iOrbit uninstaller to make sure there was no trace of the old software behind. Still the same problem.

So joe_intel, you think ignoring the problem solves the issue?

Hi JohnS, I'm curious about something.

When ever we have an issue with these adapters, you seem to always say "Troubleshoot with us" or ask us some ignorant question like you legitimately don't know what the issue is.

Isn't troubleshooting and releasing updates your job?

Here's a suggestion: Buy a notebook with your adapter and try using it like a normal person. You'll quickly see what we are all saying. Then, you can do your own troubleshooting! Isn't that amazing??
