I had choppy sound on my Bluetooth hearing aids when playing videos on my laptop. Earbuds worked just fine, but (new) hearing aids did not. Latest device driver from Dell was 21.80.0.3, but on Intel site, there was a 21.90.2.1 (5/20/2020) that had the following in the release notes:
On some systems with certain Bluetooth headsets, the audio may come out discontinuously while streaming video online over Wi-Fi.
I installed it and it solved my problem (mostly, after installing Bluetooth driver; completely, after installing WiFi driver too). If the problem was a bug fix, then no issue. If it was a robustness fix for something unusual in what the hearing aids were doing, I would like to pass the info on to them (Phonak).
