Hi,
I'm interested in developing a driver for an Intel AC 8265, for another OS. Could you please point me in the direction of the Intel interface specifications for this card?
I've looked at the linux driver code and it's helpful but not sufficient to fully understand the card.

Also, I'd recommend you to check our Resource & Design Center

Also, here's the link of the specifications of the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265.

If you have any other question related to basic troubleshooting with the controller or something similar, we'll be glad to assist.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Oscar.
I don't mean to seem unappreciative but the specs I was looking for were for directly interfacing with the card rather than the a specifications for a system designer. I'm looking for control ports , PCI registers, how to initialize the card, how to set the frequencies, power, etc, all at the hardware level.
Unless I missed something, the resource design center doesn't seem to even have a forum dedicated to wireless or networking. Is there somewhere else i should post a question?
Thank you,
Paul

Hello PHuse,
The Intel® Developer Zone is the official source for Intel® Hardware and Software, so, I'd highly recommend you to check there for the information you're looking for.
Also, in order to request information from the Resource and Design Center, you have to register there and check if the information can be available for you, I don't really think there's a dedicated forum for Wireless or Networking.
I provided that website with the specifications in case you needed it, however, if you're looking for interface specifications, please check the websites previously mentioned.
Thank you,
Oscar A.
