Stone Peak 7265 Bluetooth RF Disable

Hello,

I want to disable the RF Bluetooth function of the module by using a software mechanism called SW RF Kill with Windows 7 x64Bit. In the Intel docs there is text like "StP SD also supports Bluetooth SW RF Kill". But how can I implement that in Windows 7?

Regards

Andreas

blabla,

Thank you for your time. The RF Kill function in Windows PC's is normally done with a Keyboard combination, or a switch in the chassis. If you wish to disable Bluetooth*, you can also do this in Device Manager - Bluetooth Radios, right click on the Intel® Wireless Bluetooth and use the Disable option.

It is possible that there may be 3rd-party Software to emulate these functions, however, we do not use these, so we are not able to refer to them.

You may also check about this with the Computer Manufacturer Support, since some vendors customize the wireless adapter in order to change the behavior according to the design of each PC model. You may find your computer manufacturer contact information in this link: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support Websites
