I usually get around 2 - 10 mb download speeds when all the other devices in my room get more than 150. the wifi icon on my taskbar only shows 2 bars when i should be getting full.

This sounds more like an antenna issue that anything else. I suggest that you check to see that the two antenna wires are firmly connected to the WiFi card and, if a laptop, that the antenna lead has not been crimped by the hinge mechanism.

Hope this helps,

Hello scary276,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+).

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Are you using a laptop or desktop computer? What is the model of the laptop or motherboard (if desktop)?

2. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?

3. Do you see any error in teh device manager?

4. What is the BIOS version?

5. What is the operating system installed as well as the version and build?

6. Is the issue present in both bands (2.4GHz and 56GHz)?

1. It is a desktop, the motherboard is an asus prime a520m-e

2. This the original adapter that came with the computer.

3. No, there are no errors.

4. My BIOS version is American Megatrends Inc. 2803, 27/04/22

5. Windows 11 Home, 22H2,  the build is 22621.1702

6. It is persistent in both bands

edit: I switched the bands to 5GHz and it seems to be working fine for now, it used to be persistent in both bands tho.

Hello scary276,

Thanks for the confirmation. Based on the information provided, please try the following:

1. Get in contact with Asus to confirm the proper steps to update your BIOS to the latest version (3002).

2. Make sure that you have performed all the Windows updates, including the optional ones.

3. Perform a clean install of the Intel drivers.

4. Try the "Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity":
