I stupidly uninstalled the network adapter (Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260) on my Dell to try to fix wifi connectivity issues and now I cannot reinstall it. I have tried several times to reinstall and I don't know what to do anymore. I downloaded Network Adapter from here, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28143/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?product=75440 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28143/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windo... , onto an external hard drive and then tried to reinstall it on my PC. At first it appeared under the "Network Adapters," but an error code 10 appeared, then after restarting my computer Wireless-N 7260 disappeared. Can anyone help me?

Just tried it and I'm getting this message, "Installation Blocked: This software package cannot be installed on your system."
