DOES INTEL EVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES

The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 is available in two different board from factors: M.2 2230 and M.2 1216 (soldered down).

Even if the AC 8260 used the same connector, the Computer Manufacturer is the best source to let you know if this wireless adapter will be supported with your new PC. Take into consideration that the end user is not authorized to install these wireless adapters. They can only be installed by the manufacturer or its authorized representative.

We reviewed some pages and documents for the Dell Inspiron* Desktop and we could not find information about the AC 8260 being supported with it, for this reason, we advise you to check back with Dell Support about any possible upgrade:
