Which DSL N Modem will work best with Intel Wifi Link 1000 BGN

I currently own a Netgear duel band modem, this wifi adapter does does not detect the N Signal. I was wondering which dual band modem I should buy to get the N signal on this laptop. I prefer a dual band modem so the other computers will still have access to the G signal. I have tried the work arounds listed on this board to make this laptop detect the N signal they did not work. I don't know what else to do but to buy a different DSL modem. I just want to be sure it will actually detect the N signal before buying it.
