Why cant I see my wifi6 network? Nighthawk RS300 + Intel wifi 6 AX201

Why cant I see my wifi6 network? I have a Nighthawk RS300 router with an Intel AX201. The router admin page shows the wifi 6 network is enabled. The adapter settings show enable AX mode enabled. However in the wifi list only the 2.4 and 5g is shown. There should be a 3rd separate network for wifi 6 according to the router admin page. Adapter drivers are updated.

No, you are seeing exactly what you should be seeing. WiFi 6 only supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. You need an AX210/AX211 to get WiFi 6e and support for the 6GHz band -- but understand that you cannot use the 5GHz and 6GHz bands at the same time regardless; you need a WiFi 7 tri-band adapter for that.
Hope this explains it,

Hi Colinski585,

This is due to 6GHz support required OEM manufacturer validation and approved its compatibility with 6 GHz, since @n_scott_pearson shared Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7.
