Hello silvano44,
It seems that you are facing issues downloading a driver for AX203 on your Acer Nitro. To address this properly, please share the information below.
1. Are you getting any error message?
2. Are you also having connectivity issues?
3. Which driver version are you referring to?
4. Were you able to update the driver previously?
5. Is this a laptop or a desktop system?
6. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,

Hello silvano44,
Thank you for sharing all this information. For further troubleshooting and proper isolation of the issue, please try and confirm the steps below.
1. Can you connect other devices such to the Wi-Fi without issues?
2. How are you connecting the laptop to your mobile hotspot, via Wi-Fi or by using a cable?
3. Can you try to connect to a different network?
Furthermore, it seems that you are utilizing the driver from Intel. Please be informed that we recommend using the drivers from the OEM as it is already customized to be compatible with your device. Please try to use the drivers from the OEM and let me know if anything changes.
Also, kindly share the SSU report if the same issue is observed.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Jed G.

Good Morning, thanx for your answer. About your 3 question this is the answer:
1 ) I can connect many other devices to the same router without any issue , like another laptop from Asus , The Smarth TV, and many smarthphones of my kids , no issuses.
2 ) I am connecting my ACER NITRO Laptop on my phone hotspot with WIFI and no issues.
3 ) Yes I can connect with other Networks without Issuses.
About using the adaptor with the OEM , of course I tried so many times, to disable and enable it, and also unistall and re istall , but doesnt work .
I hope this will helpè.
I really need to find the solution because I cannot keep using the Data from my Smarthphone.
Thanks.

Hello silvano44,
Thank you for your response and for providing the additional details. Based on the information you've shared, it seems like the issue might be specific to the connection between your ACER NITRO laptop and your router, as you can connect other devices to the same router without any issues, and your laptop works fine with your phone's hotspot. When you are connecting to the router, does the laptop show any error messages or warnings related to the network connection? Since you mentioned you’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter, have you tried using a USB Wi-Fi dongle to test if the issue is related to the internal Wi-Fi adapter?
Best regards,

Good Morning, the thing is that when i try to connect to the router the Laptop is like switching offn the adaptor and the wifi icon on the taskbar disappear , so when i go to check on device manager i find the yellow flah on the adaptor and the error 43 that say that windows system cannot start the wifi adaptor .
I didnt try via USB WIFI also because I dont have any but i am sure the problem after so many test is the internal adaptor , maybe since there are many different settings on the advanced windows of the adaptor you can suggest which one to try to test with a different Frequency Now is on Dual Band 802.11 a/big. maybe you can suggest another setting? Thanks

Hello silvano44,
Thank you for the detailed explanation. Based on your description and the presence of a Code 43 error in Device Manager, it’s highly likely the internal Wi-Fi adapter is experiencing a hardware failure or critical driver conflict. These errors in Device Manager for Bluetooth or Wireless (Wi-Fi) Devices can be caused by many different issues. Usually, a Code 43 error is a temporary error, generated when Device Manager can't start the hardware device. However, this error is considered a generic message indicating an unspecified problem. This most commonly occurs after running a Windows* Update that includes Wi-Fi or Bluetooth updates.
A Code 10, 22, 28, 31, 43, or 45 error in Device Manager can occur when:
- Bluetooth cannot be enabled
- In Device Manager, there is a Yellow bang (!, exclamation point) next to the Bluetooth or Wireless (Wi-Fi) device
- In Device Manager, the properties of the Bluetooth or Wireless device shows status = "This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE”
Intel recommends that customers update their Intel Wireless or Bluetooth drivers to the latest version to address several of these code errors. In addition, Intel strongly recommends that users contact Microsoft and follow recommendations issued by them on this issue before proceeding. This might include a clean installation of the Operating System.
- Intel recommends that you test using your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drivers. If you still get the error after reinstalling these drivers, then try the Intel generic drivers for Bluetooth or Wireless adapters.
- Important: Download the drivers before uninstalling the driver if you are following the instructions for a clean installation process.
-
To get the latest generic drivers from Intel, you can automatically update your drivers using the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.
Here are a few next steps and settings you can try before fully ruling out the hardware:
- Several customers have reported the issue being fixed by to performing a Cold reboot of the system after reinstalling the driver. This refers to fully shut down the device and remove all sources of power, including batteries if applicable, then repowering. Intel recommends following this troubleshooting step as first approach to the issue.
- Make sure the wireless function is activated. Refer to Connect to a Wi-Fi network in Windows.
- Update system BIOS to the latest version, or reset BIOS to defaults. For motherboard, refer to the motherboard manufacturer and for laptops, All-In-Ones, or notebooks, refer to your OEM (original equipment manufacturer) for support with BIOS updates: Computer Manufacturer Support Websites.
- Identify which Wi-Fi adapter and Bluetooth device your system is running, then proceed with the Clean Installation process explained here: Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers this procedure also applies to Bluetooth drivers.
- See screenshots below for examples of what Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices look like in Device Manager.
- Install all available Windows Updates.
- Perform a Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers. Clean installation of the wireless/Bluetooth drivers is a troubleshooting step recommended to remove any previous installation files that might cause conflicts with new driver installations.
- Intel Wireless device. Example: Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz
- Intel Bluetooth device. Example: Intel® Wireless Bluetooth®
- When you uninstall the Wi-FI/Bluetooth device, it may become an unknown device, which is expected. The device will be identified again after you reinstall the driver.
- Intel Wireless device. Example: Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz
- Reboot the PC
-
Restore the system from the restore point. If the wireless network problem happens recently, and if you have ever created a restore point or there is an automatic system restore existed, try to restore the computer to a point before the problem began.
-
Reset your PC. If the problem persists after all troubleshooting steps are completed. Please back up your personal files, then reset the PC back to its original configuration.
To learn more about the system restore and system reset, refer to Recovery options in Windows.
-
Check and enable the Bluetooth component from Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) setup.
- If your system is still showing the error after this, contact your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for additional support.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello silvano44,
After further investigation, we have determined that the Intel wireless cards we possess are Client/STA devices, which do not require any special configuration to access networks, provided there are no issues with the access point configuration.
Upon analyzing the issue you are experiencing, it appears there is a problem with your Access Point. Therefore, I recommend contacting your Access Point manufacturer for assistance with this matter.
Having shared the result of our investigation and the steps that needs to be taken, I will now close this inquiry. Should you have other concerns, please submit a new questions as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Best regards,
Jed G.
