Windows 11 Mobile Hotspot

I'm attempting to use the Mobile Hotspot function in Windows 11. I'd like to use my ethernet connection to broadcast a wireless network to my other devices. Unfortunately its not working. My devices can see the wireless network that is created, but there's no internet connection when I connect. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Wireless Adapter drivers. And making sure all my other programs/OS/drivers are up to date.

Here are my specs:

Device name AlienCretch
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
Device ID 75260F52-12EF-4223-BFA0-5889FE183C3E
Product ID 00325-81531-06215-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 21H2
Installed on ‎1/‎3/‎2022
OS build 22000.527
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.527.0

and my Network Adapter is:

Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX1650x 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter (200NGW)

When I run "netsh wlan show drivers" in a CMD prompt I get the following:

Interface name: Wi-Fi

Hosted network says its not supported, but I'm wondering if this can be amended? I tried searching previous forum posts but they were all very old and on different versions of Windows. Also if there's any other information that would be valuable to share please let me know!

Thank you

Hello Cretch,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We appreciate the information provided, as well as the steps performed already. In order to better assist you, please provide the following information:

- Were you able to use the mobile hotspot function before? If that is the case, was there any change before it stopped working?

- Was the wireless adapter preinstalled or is it an integration?

- Are you able to connect to other networks successfully?

As well, please download the Intel® SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-

Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".

Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View". To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

Thank you for the response!

- I was able to use the Mobile Hotspot to give a connection to my phone. I tried connecting a second device and it didn't work. So in the settings I changed the broadcast from automatic to manual 2.4GHz (it was automatically broadcasting in 5GHz). When that didn't work I reverted the setting back to automatic and then Mobile Hotspot stopped working entirely. I also ran through all the troubleshooting steps I could find.

- The wireless adapter came installed in the laptop (I'm assuming that's what you're asking.)

- I can use the wireless adapter to connect to other networks, yes

I've attached my scan.

Thanks again for helping me!
