[Windows 8.1] Intel Wireless 15.1.1 don't detect .NET 4

Hi,

I've just installed Windows 8.1 (new installation) which is installed with .NET 2 & .NET 4 but not .NET 3.5.

During driver installation, a messagebox prompt about .NET 3.5 installation. I've refused because :

- Windows 8.1 is big enough without adding .NET 3.5 and all its patches

- .NET 4 should be back compatible with .NET 3.5

So installation failed.

Can Setup check for newer version of .NET ?

Vincent, we have not seen this issue before; 15.1.1 appears to be an older version. Would you please confirm it and the wireless adapter model?

Hi,

it's on a NEC Versa P570 (http://www.nec-computers.com/support2/pib.asp?mode=default&platform=platform_ms1641 NEC Computers - Technical Support)

Because the computer just crashed yesterday :/ I can't do any test now

Here's the MAC Address of the adapter : 00-1F-3B-93-53-61 to find the exact model.

We do not take the model from a MAC address but if you have any of the Intel® wireless adapters from the link you provided, we must say those are legacy products and are not supported in Windows* 8.1. If you have either one of them please take a look to the articles below. Otherwise, provide the exact model of the wireless adapter.
