Hello Crono, the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN is not officially supported in Windows* 8 by Intel, we know that such operating system includes Microsoft* inbox drivers; however, we are not sure about Windows* 8.1 since it has not been officially released yet and it is possible you may experience unwanted behavior. Please refer to the articles below. You may also contact Microsoft* for further assistance.

I see the issue too on my Dell XPS M1330. Many others are reporting Problems with this Adapter since the update to Windows 8.1
I listed the Forum threads in my blog post:

Use NETw4v64.sys version 11.0.5.32. You'll notice it assigns the wireless adapter a negative IRQ and the blue screens stop coming up. It is available here:

I had BSOD once a day for 2 weeks using different drivers in HP 8710P. Exactly: /message/214881# 214881 Windows 8.1 PRO - Intel 4965 AGN - BSOD (Driver IRQL not less or equal) NETWLV64.SYS
On July 9th I installed Windows Vista driver 12.1.0.14 from HP site.I have no BSOD since then.
Old driver seems to be good solution. Driver 12.1.0.14 works OK.
