Wireless adapter AC 8260 does not appear in network devices

I have a lenovo T460 which was working fine but a while back I lost all the wireless connectivity.

When I check device manager I see the adapter and it doesn't show anything wrong but I does not appear in the adapter list from Networking in Control panel and of course I can't connect to anything.

I'm attaching my configurations from SSU

Hello Sproketboy,

We understand that your Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 is no longer shown in Device Manager, we reviewed the SSU log you provided and in fact the 8260 is not seen in your network adapters. Please check the following to discard some possible causes:

- Make sure that the Wireless hardware is enabled in you laptop. This is normally done with a hardware switch in the PC chassis, or with a key combination.

- Please disconnect the cable from the wired network and reboot, then check if the wireless adapter shows after that.

- Try running the driver installation for this adapter in Windows 10 and check if it is detected:

If the issue persists at this point, please contact the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support to make sure that the PCIe device is enabled in the BIOS, or to discard any hardware problems in the system.
