Wireless headset mic input stops working after a few minutes

I've just upgraded my motherboard to Gigabyte Auros Pro Wifi with Intel CNVi wireless chip. I started to have issue where a connected bluetooth headset will lose audio input after a few minutes. Audio output still works, just the input stop working, selecting a different input in windows sound setting then switch back does not resolve the problem, the only method that will fix this is turn bluetooth off and on, or turn the headset off and on.

This issue happens on more than one bluetooth headset, tested with Bose QC35 and Plantronics Voyager Legend. Tested with both driver provided by Gigabyte as well as Windows Update.

I'm an end user in this case, if this is the wrong place for my question, I apologize and would appreciate if you could point me to the appropriate channel.

The motherboard this wireless chip is on is the Gigabyte Auros Pro WiFi Ver. 1.00. On all of Gigabyte's documentation I wasn't able to find any model number for the chip other than "Intel CNVi" chipset.

thanks.
