Hi
I have HP pavilion and it has intel centrino wireless-n 1000 with windows 8.1
I have the latest drivers installed with NETwsw00 version 15.9.0.4
After I connect to PPPOE I get BSOD Kernel_Mode_Trap

I do understand the inconvenience of encountering this type of issue and I have some questions about it.
I see the above driver file version; however, would you please verify the driver version shown in Device Manager?
Can you provide a description of your network environment, like a network map?
Did you test this connection using a different system?

As for the network environment, it is a typical home set-up.
I only had the BSOD problem after the windows 8.1 update. On windows 8 it was fine.

Is this wireless driver version the same you used in Windows* 8? Did you test with an older version?

No, this is the latest driver for 8.1 I downloaded from intel website.
The problem was on going since I updated to windows 8.1 last year. I tried several drivers that came out since then.
I also tried deleting it and using the old driver that shipped with MS windows. Same problem.
