ch.14 & 4.9ghz support wlan exist separately?

I have ac7265hmw & ax200ngw chips. - In a Linux environment

Even if regd is set to japan, ch14 & 4.9ghz cannot be set.

Is there a separate wireless LAN card for Japan?

When setting the japan channel, an unknown command error occurs in wlan.

All other channels can be set

I want to set up a channel for Japan only.

ch.14 & 4.9ghz

If you have a separate model, please tell us which models are available

If my model supports it now, Please tell me how to set it up

Hello jpark190,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

The Intel® Wireless adapters are going to work based on the country settings detected based on the Regulatory Information, this done automatically since this is how they are been designed and this is the expected behavior to comply with the country-specific legal regulations. For more information, please check Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade.

Regarding your inquiry and to see if there is something that we might help with, could you please provide the following details to understand better your environment?

1- System details on where each Intel® Wireless adapter is installed: (PC/laptop brand, and model)

  • Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200:
  • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265:

2- Linux Distro and version:

3- Are those the original wireless adapters that came pre-installed on the systems or are you integrating the devices?

4- Details of the "unknown command error":

I sent your inquiry to linuxwifi@intel.com as your advice.

However, there is no reply on day 5.

I run out of time and ask you.

Beyond the platform (Linux / Windows),

Do all wlans of Intel support 4.9GHz and ch.14? (in H/W)

How about from the window point of view?
